Biography
Henry served in the Pacific during WWII with the U.S. Army as part of the "I" Battery, 59th Coastal Artillery Corps. Was captured by the Japanese on May 6, 1942 on Corregidor and held as a POW for 1,183 days until liberation in August, 1945. Medals earned were the Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Philippine Defense Medal-WWII, POW Medal.
