Bio:

George was born in Platteville, Wisconsin on February 2, 1921. He enlisted in the Army on December 29, 1941 and became an aviation cadet the next year. He was stationed in England as a B-17 pilot in June of 1943. He was discharged from the Army December 29, 1945.
George attended the Wisconsin Institute of Technology and Rolla School of Mines and Metallurgy.
George is married and has 6 children.
