Biography
Allen Murph Posey, Sr. was born September 11, 1919. He served in the 94th Bomb Group of the Army Air Corp during World War II. His B-17 bomber was shot down over nothern France in May 1943 and he spent 23 months in German POW camps. He also served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Until his death, he kept in touch with many friends from this World War II and Korean War experiences.

After the war, Mr. Posey was employed by the State of Louisiana in the state's Department of Motor Vehicles. He and his wife of fifty-five years, Mary Lee, resided in Natchitoches, LA and raised three children, a daughter and two sons.
