Biography
Steve Yarema is a WWII veteran who served with the 8th Air Force in England. He was 22 years old when he was shot down on Aug. 4, 1944 on a bomb raid over Bremen, Germany where he was taken prisoner.

He was a POW at Dulag Luft, at Stalag Luft 3, Stalag 7-A, and liberated on April 29th, 1945. Awarded the Air Medal with three clusters, the Purple Heart, POW Medal, Unit Citations, Victory Medal and others.

After the war Steve served with the United State Air Force for 23 years total and then worked 17 years with the IBM Corporation. Steve and his wife Doris reside in Arizona.
