The Ride Home

The Chapters of Rolling Thunder conducted the 2015 Ride Home on September 16. The annual event dates back to 2002. Ride Home Inc. is a nonprofit corporation that pays tribute to Former American Prisoners of War who have returned home and the families of those Americans still Missing in Action. POW/MIA Recognition Day calls to mind the sacrifices made by these soldiers and their families. Combined conflict totals include more than 7,000 POWs and over10,000 still listed as missing in action.

The annual Ride Home motorcycle ride is an event that honors former prisoners of war and the families of MIAs. It takes place in and around the cities of Americus and Andersonville, Georgia, home of the National Prisoners of War Museum.
