Until his death, he kept in touch with many friends from this World War II and Korean War experiences.
After the war, Mr. Posey was employed by the State of Louisiana in the state's Department of Motor Vehicles. He and his wife of fifty-five years, Mary Lee, resided in Natchitoches, LA and raised three children, a daughter and two sons.
